WHAT IS SOCIAL COACHING?
Whenever people ask me what Social Coaching is and what do we do in sessions, I almost always give the same answer. I offer the image of a triangle.
True well-being takes into consideration three elements. Our cognitive behaviour: the way that we think, our belief systems and the language that we use, both to others and with ourselves. Our emotions and how we regulate our feelings. Finally, our physical body.
Many therapies and coaching systems focus on one or two of these elements, however social coaching recognises that it is the combination of these three things that allow us to feel truly in balance.
Social coaching is a transformative discipline that enables a profound exploration of self-love, connections, and personal values. It offers a unique way of understanding who you truly are and where you genuinely want to be in life. At its core, this approach believes that language not only describes reality but also has the power to create new realities. Through engaging, transformative conversations and dynamic activities to connect us to the physical body, we will delve into your past and present, examining old habits and belief systems that no longer serve you, or perhaps were never even truly yours. This journey of self-discovery allows for the development of deeper connections and the establishment of personal values that resonate with your true self.
By questioning and reshaping mental structures, we can expand our vision of what’s possible and change any area of life that we feel needs our attention, whether that be on a personal or professional level. Social Coaching is about liberating yourself from limiting beliefs, connecting with your inner resources, and actively intervening in your reality to live a life that is authentically yours.
